The Colchester & District Archery Club (CADAC) are a group of archery enthusiasts based in Colchester, Essex. We meet Tuesday and Thursday evenings (from around 4:00 pm) at our clubhouse & ground at the Colchester Sports Park in the summer months for practice, competition shoots and peer-training. In winter months, we meet at the Highwoods Sports Centre at 7:30 pm on Tuesday evenings for indoor shoots. We shoot at the Colchester Sports Park on Sunday mornings from 8:00 am all year round. CADAC members hold keys to access our Sports Park clubhouse & field to shoot whenever they wish. We welcome archers from age 10 upwards, from all disciplines and of all abilities.
CADAC run open tournaments each year and hold monthly handicap shoots for members. We also run taster sessions and beginners courses for people new to archery.
