Safeguarding

The Colchester & District Archery Club has a Safeguarding Officer whose contact details are on a poster inside the clubhouse. Any issues or concerns can be raised directly with the Safeguarding Officer or with any other Committee member.

The Club adopts all of Archery GB’s Safeguarding policies. The relevant documents and guidance are available from the Archery GB Safeguarding page.

There is also an Archery GB Code of Conduct document – and a poster – which sets out details as to the minimum standards of behaviour and conduct expected from:

Adult Archers
Young Archers
Coaches, Judges and Officials
Spectators, Parents and Carers

There are also Code of Conduct documents that cover policies relating to:

Anti-bribery
Smoking

Should the Archery GB website be down for any reason, the key documents are also held on the County Website. See the Essex County Archery Association Safeguarding page.
